Fun Palaces, a project to promote shared creativity They co-create cultural events to improve relationships within a community 09-12-20 Enjoying Everyday Life updated inspiration Twitter Facebook LinkedIn Pinterest Email Fun Palaces is an association that supports local communities in the co-creation of their own cultural and community events in the UK and all around the world, sharing and celebrating everyone’s creative capacity. For this association, creativity contributes to the creation of a better world, celebrating our everyday and establishing a better connection with our neighbors. The project originated from an idea shared by the London-based theater director Joan Littlewood and the architect Cedric Price in the 1960s: “Fun Palace, the laboratory of fun”. Although they never had the chance to see this idea turned into something real, the new generations have continued this original concept of bringing amusement and creativity to the world.
